Back in the office, the students had an in-depth exchange with the chairman in the form of questions and answers. He introduced to the students that the company's main business is the production and manufacturing of gravure printing machine equipment for wood-based panel veneer decoration materials, which is unique in the Lin'an old machinery industry. Mr. Liu focused on the "UEI" industrial Internet application platform, which builds a new manufacturing and service system covering the entire industrial chain and the entire value chain through the comprehensive connection of people, machines, things, and systems. As the name suggests, "U" stands for the user of printing machinery, "E" stands for printing machinery and equipment manufacturing enterprises, and "I" refers to the Internet of Things platform. "UEI" can be seamlessly connected with ERP, MES and other management systems, which can better achieve the goals of production automation, data management and informatization.

During the exchange, the students mentioned how to do a good job in the "E" in "UEI" in MeiG Machinery? Liu Dong gave a detailed answer, "E" is the need to collect data in industrial machinery and equipment, for this reason, the company will set up a special data collection group, on the one hand, the installation of sensors to collect and integrate (environmental assessment identification, safety and energy saving and emission reduction, output quality and cost, after-sales and maintenance) data, on the other hand, the collected data will be transmitted to the PLC, and then to the MES system to achieve data penetration. What opportunities and challenges does the "UEI" bring to the enterprise proposed by the students? Liu Dong said that under the requirements of China's 14th Five-Year Plan for high-quality development and China's intelligent manufacturing 2025, enterprises must keep pace with the times, and the company proposes to achieve the third development of the concept of excellence to transcendence from 2020 to 2029, and "UEI" is the inevitable way to realize the digital, networked and intelligent development of industry and even industry.

When it comes to how UEI will be promoted in the future, Liu Dong pointed out that first of all, it is necessary to establish an enterprise research institute, which can become a new carrier for enterprises to express their quality, and it will gradually evolve the value of products from empty and nihilistic to the physical level. Secondly, it is necessary to actively promote the opening of more application scenarios, such as landing the "UEI" scheme in the user workshop, and establishing a model workshop, accurately docking customer needs, developing and expanding new application products and solutions, encouraging user units and MeiG Machinery to carry out technical experiment verification, and supporting all parties to jointly build a digital information application promotion platform. The "UEI" scheme will be extended to pre-press and post-press supporting equipment, and the integration of the industrial chain such as printing, dipping and pressing in wood-based panels will be realized. In the future, the platform will focus on key industries and drive more large, medium and small enterprise customers to enjoy the dividends of digital transformation with the industrial Internet model.
